The reviews about the lobster bisque are not just hype. Best lobster bisque I’ve ever had with big chunks of lobster. The bison burger and fries were delicious. The owner/cook was personable and aimed to please. Small and personal cafe with great food. Drive to the airport and enjoy.

You guys got a good thing going here. Delicious cheeseburger and fries sprinkled with the best salt flakes. Tasty bar-style food in the most unexpected place in West Yellowstone. Cool experience enjoying my lunch while watching a small plane take off in front of the mountains.

Great place for breakfast or lunch ( never had dinner there). The hours are somewhat mysterious, so you don't know if it's open until you get there. If you're already at the airport, don't bother going into town. Just eat here.

Out to the airport you go maybe ten minutes..the food is fabulous...A must Lobster Bisque so delicious..salad so fresh. Hubby had patty melt with fries...we left full & happy. Many brewery brews too

This place is amazing. We ordered take out and I had the best bison burger I have ever had. They even had a large gluten free selection for my girlfriend. The fries are also amazing. This little cafe is the best place to grab a bite in west Yellowstone before heading into the park.

The food was not good. The owner of this establishment is also the cook and is extremely abrasive and rude. I will never eat here again.

This is the BEST little secret in West Yellowstone!! It's closed for the season right now and I miss it so much! The food is amazing!! It is located at the airport so I didn't know it existed until this year! Now I'm addicted and telling EVERYONE!! I hope it's here to stay! They offer gluten free options too that actually taste amazing! The GF fish and chips is a huge hit!! My boyfriend said the pancakes are the best he's ever had and he is a huge pancake guy. Right now I'm craving the lobster bisque. You definitely gotta try this cafe!!

Small, friendly, and great food. Very knowledgable about gluten and offer many gluten free options. This is a seasonal cafe and is closed in the winter months.

Its been about a year or so since we have been there, but my wife is extremely allergic to Gluten, and this place has the best fish & chips from a dedicated gluten free fryer! Best food around! We will be stopping by for a late lunch tomorrow! I would give 10 stars if I could.

I have been going to the Smokejumper cafe for years and look forward to every trip that takes me there, even working vacation plans so that family can pick me up at the airport, just so I can have lunch there.I've tried almost everything on the menu more than once, and have never been disappointed. Other reviews of his Lobster bisque and Lobster rolls are spot on. So amazing, especially since he's so far from lobster territory. How he does it and keeps it fresh is his secret.The smokejumper bomb breakfast burrito is huge, filling and delicious. Just don't talk about the bomb once beyond his doors, since that's where TSA is, and they don't like hearing that word.Be warned: James is usually very busy as mostly a one man shop, and it can get hectic as all get out prior to the seasonal air service outbound flight. Get there well before your flight leaves, or have plenty of time after you land to sit and enjoy a delicious meal.

The staff are very friendly. The owner is very friendly and makes great food. If you, our someone in your group needs to eat gluten free food, this place is amazing. If you can eat gluten, this place has great food! Win win! Support this restaurant.

This place was awesome! James is a great one man band cook and business man. Food was truly excellent! I had the blue cheese burger with fries. It was so good. Cooked it exactly how I wanted! If/when I come back I'm stop here.

Asked for medium rare got well done and the owner was rude and would not fix the problem. I would not eat here again.
